Rob Poth, M.D., FAAP

Brings ten years of pediatric experience to Harborside Pediatrics. He is gentle and compassionate and has special interests in child development and adolescent medicine.

Credentials: Born in Pennsylvania, Dr. Poth received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 1992, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He attended Temple University School of medicine, earning his M.D. in 1996. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia in 1999. He served as Chief Resident in Pediatrics at St. Christopher's from 1999-2000. He was awarded "Top Docs" in 2005 & 2006 by Pittsburg Magazine. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is an active Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Ryan O'Leary, M.D., FAAP

Dr. O'Leary has been with Harborside Pediatrics since 2002 and currently works part-time hours.

Credentials : Born in North Carolina, Dr. O'Leary received her Bachelor of Science in Bio-Chemistry/Zoology in 1995 from NC State University. She attended the North Carolina School of Medicine earning her M.D. in 1999. She complete her internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Utah in 2002. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is an active Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics

Shelley Rinker, M.D., FAAP

Founded Harborside Pediatrics in February of 2000 with the desire to become 'the small town community doctor' giving parents and their children the personal touch that only a private practice can bring. Dr. Rinker has over fifteen years of pediatric experience and specializes in foreign adoptions, child abuse and autism.

Credentials : Dr. Rinker received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of Charleston in 1985, graduating Magna Cum Laude . She attended the University of SC School of Medicine, earning her M.D. in 1989. She completed her pediatric internship and residency in Charlotte at Carolinas Medical Center in 1992. She served as Chief Resident in Pediatrics from 1991-1992. She currently serves as the Medical Director for the Dove House Child Abuse Advocacy Center in Statesville, NC. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is an active Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics
